Good lake beach. Laid back and relaxing.
The beach is very clean, great, and overall peaceful. You can fish or go kayaking in the park. The whole park is 1,200 acres. Trees, nature, birds everywhere! Nearby areas include houses and maybe even a few rentals. There are 2 park rangers near the place and they control how far you can go. Beautiful! There is also a playground and sand. The water is cold, but if it's summertime I take that as an advantage. Not a bad location, but it's pretty large so it could be tough to make your way through the park. There is a grass area, bathrooms, and parking. On the grass there are flowers that attract bees. Sunny area. The water isn't really clear, so that's a little below average.
Great ace to go for summer fun, swimming is free and there are plenty of benches for you to have a picnic. You can bring in your own snacks or buy some from the snack stand, just remember to clean up after and keep it beautiful. There are also sections where you can have your pet.
It was a very nice swimming area.. the bottom was not rocky at all and the beach area was very clean... the bathrooms need some work but a nice day spent
